Yoga Talk

Namaste

There’s something oddly refreshing about holding contorted poses in a nearly 100 degree room. Hot yoga is a new hobby I have, unexpectedly, become a big proponent for. Three years ago I would’ve never considered adding the practice to my life. To me, exercise was something that should be high impact, energy, and intensity. The thought of sitting in a room in “Warrior 1” did not appeal.

Luckily I was introduced to this wonderful yoga studio, and haven’t turned back. Since joining I have become a first-hand witness of the many wonderful benefits of the practice, and have compiled a list of these below.

Top 10 Reasons to Do Yoga

  1. Stress Management
  2. Boosts Immunity
  3. Improves Energy
  4. Promotes Relaxation
  5. Increases Endurance and Stamina
  6. Eases Migraines
  7. Aids in Injury Prevention
  8. Fights Food Cravings
  9. Improves Posture
  10. Enhances Metabolism

If these aren’t reason enough to hit the mat, consider how fantastic a toasty warm room feels as the thermometer outside begins to dip lower and lower…

Namaste.

Wow! That’s really good! I started last year but I wasn’t really that serious. I practices again this month, it’s nice 🙂 what are the benefits you’ve been experiencing in your practice so far?
