If you asked me what I’ve been up to lately, I could probably answer it for you in a few simple words: running, traveling, froyo. Maybe these are somewhat standard for a summer, but they quite honestly have been staples in my day-to-day.

In the past few weeks I have spent more time in a car than is probably normal, logging miles on trips home, visiting family on other side of the state, etc. Thankfully, I appreciate a good audio-book and have found myself lol’ing {quite literally} to this book to pass the drive-time.

I am also about half-way through my marathon training + have been logging miles on the trail whenever i’m not working or traveling somewhere. Given my affinity for post-work al fresco dining + drinks, outdoor concerts or pool time, it’s small miracle i’ve stayed as motivated to train as I have. Fingers crossed this carries through over the next few weeks.

And lastly, froyo. June/July have been sort of a “#treatyoself” month {to the point where this summer dessert has become more of a dinner for me}. What better way to indulge than with a chilly cup of cake batter frozen yogurt complete with all the fixings? I’m hooked + it’s probably not a healthy habit but I’m ok with it.

Besides these, here are a few other things in photo’s I have been loving…
