how I cured my dry winter skin

dry winter skin

one//Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cream Extra Dry– This lightweight face moisturizer is my go-to when my skin is extra dry. I apply this gel to my face 1-2 times a week right before bed + wake-up with smooth, hydrated skin.

two//Simple Eye Makeup Remover Pads– These gentle wipes are perfect for removing the the make-up, but not the moisture, from my skin. Not to mention, they are portable enough to tote around with me wherever my plans take me.

three//Moroccanoil Body Butter– I turned to this as my full-body moisturizer after being recommended to it by a friend. The review did not disappoint. I apply a dime-sized amount, along with my usual moisturizer, to any problem areas + it works double-duty to bring back life to my skin.

four//Aquaphor Lip Repair– Chapped lips are my biggest problem area these days. I’ve been through the wringer trying all of the “popular products” + this one provides the hands-down best dry lip relief in the quickest amount of time.

five//Kevin.Murphy Fresh Hair Dry Cleaning Spray Shampoo– In the winter months, I cut back on my shampooing to reduce moisture loss to my locks. This dry shampoo has been the perfect product for ensuring I maintain a well-kept do’ between washes.

six//100% Pure Argan Oil for Hair and Skin I was gifted this product + wasn’t quite sure what to do with it initially. I slowly started using it on my hands + nails after a shower, and as a bi-weekly “hair mask” before bed when my hair is feeling extra dry. The results were definitely positive. If you can get over the “oiliness” up front, this product will do you wonders for skin/hair that just can’t seem to drink up enough moisture.

seven//S’well ‘Sweet Mint’ Insulated Stainless Steel Water Bottle– Maybe this is an obvious one, but my water intake increases exponentially during the drier months. Having a cool {+ cute!} bottle to reach for certainly makes this task easier. Swell carries some of the best-looking ones around + this one is no exception.
